Metal Earth

What is Metal Earth model building?

Metal Earth is one of the best brands when it comes to metal model building. They have partnered with various manufacturers that offer high-quality materials. They focus on general model kits such as animals, vehicles and houses, but over time they have also partnered with many franchises. With the approval of major entertainment companies, they can release figures from Harry Potter, Star Wars, Marvel and Lord of the Rings, among others. Speedcube's webshop also offers these, giving you a wide variety to choose from.

How do you assemble Metal Earth model kits?

When you buy a Metal Earth kit, all the parts are still attached to sprues. These are a kind of metal sheet from which you have to remove the parts yourself. You can cut them out with suitable tools. Don't forget to file them down a little if needed for the best results.

Once you have detached all the parts, you can bend and assemble them in the order shown in the instructions. Fortunately, Metal Earth is one of the best brands when it comes to ease of use. They provide detailed instructions with step-by-step guidance, so you never have to figure out for yourself how the parts fit together. The metal is thin enough to bend and shape as needed. You don't need glue for Metal Earth model kits.

Metal Earth model kits at Speedcube

Metal Earth model kits give you the opportunity to build all kinds of well-known vehicles, characters, buildings, animals and spaceships from real life or your favourite films and series. Whether you want to build Big Ben, bring Notre Dam into your home or assemble one of the ships from Star Wars, Speedcube offers a wide range of Metal Earth models to choose from.

Our sets are suitable for model builders of all skill levels. Beginners can enjoy simpler models with fewer parts, while more experienced builders can take on the challenge of more complex and detailed kits. In general, though, metal is a little more difficult to work with than plastic or wood. But don't worry: you'll get a clear instruction booklet with all the steps. It shows you step by step how to bend and assemble the metal model parts. As you can see, this material is particularly well suited to kits for mechanical models such as vehicles and spaceships.

Why choose Metal Earth model building?

Choose Metal Earth model kits for a change from other types of model kits. Most models are made of wood or plastic, but with Metal Earth you'll get a whole new challenge because they're made of metal. Some are already painted, while with others you can choose which colour to paint them afterwards. This gives you the opportunity to let your creativity run free.

Thanks to the high-quality Metal Earth model kits offered by Speedcube, you'll get beautifully finished parts. Everything is precision-cut so that it fits together perfectly. If you have older children (14+), this makes a great gift. They'll need spatial awareness and will develop the practical skills required to assemble the models.

Take a look around the webshop and see which category appeals to you most. You'll find many characters from your childhood, such as those from Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. We have a bit of everything in Metal Earth model kits. Order before 23:30 and it'll be delivered tomorrow!
