MoYu MFJS RS3M V5 Series

Like its predecessor, the RS3M 2020, Moyu decided to release an upgraded version because the cube's magnetic strength was too weak. To improve this, they added 24 extra magnets to the edge pieces. This makes the cube easier to handle and more stable. You can choose from five different versions, so there is something for everyone. We offer the MagLev, Ball-Core UV and Magnetic Dual Adjustment versions. You can purchase the MagLev and Magnetic Dual Adjustment versions with a handy robot stand. MoYu RS3M V5 3×3 Ball-Core with Robot Stand
This version features a so-called Ball Core, with a ball placed around the core and eight magnets aligned with the corner pieces. There are also magnets on the underside of the corner pieces, which are attracted to the magnets in the core. This offers two important benefits. First, the cube has a slightly stronger magnetic feel. It also makes the cube more stable during use. This system, which is similar to the one used in the GAN 11-14, gives the cube impressive quality. In addition, like the slightly cheaper version, this variant also features the MagLev system. Another addition is the protective and attractive UV coating on the plastic. This top-quality speedcube can undoubtedly compete with puzzles that cost twice as much.

MagLev means that the usual suspension with metal springs has been replaced by two repelling ring magnets. One magnet hovers above the other, creating a spring-like effect that avoids friction between the springs and rings. This results in a faster and quieter cube. It also reduces the chance of the annoying squeaking sound that can occur with speedcubes without MagLev suspension. For a small additional cost compared to the standard version, this may be the ideal choice for anyone looking for a fast, high-quality speedcube without putting too much strain on their wallet.

This version naturally comes with the familiar corner-to-edge magnets, which have become standard on all truly good speedcubes in recent years. The cube doesn’t have repelling ring magnets like the two slightly more expensive models, but don’t worry. The cube is already incredibly fast right out of the box. If you don’t like extremely fast (and potentially hard-to-control) speedcubes, this version might be the perfect choice for you. In addition to magnetization, this cube (like the other versions) also has MoYu’s patented Dual Adjustment system. This system lets you easily adjust the spring tension and how tightly the puzzle is tightened to find the perfect feel for your cube.
